Chara was the first Champion Belgian Sheepdog, as well as the first bitch, to obtain an AKC herding title. She obtained the following herding titles: HIC (AHBA) 23 Jan 1988; STDd (ASCA) March 2, 1989 and HT (AKC) June 3, 1990.
